Our Programs,
Your Design
Our strategic programs are designed with your students in mind. Using a collaborative approach, we work with you to tailor our existing programs to meet the specific academic needs of your institution and students. Our experienced academic and on-site teams will ensure that you receive the same benefits of a WorldStrides program, while aligning our academic and experiential learning opportunities to your distinct program goals.
Let’s Collaborate
Leverage our resources and expertise to build an academic pathway for your students with experiences both inside and outside the classroom, making for seamless credit transfers and enhanced learning outcomes for your students. You have the ability to modify the program as you see fit. Below are just a few examples of how you can modify the current program to better meet your needs. .

Consider Your Program Needs
We can help you find the right balance between your academic needs and experiential learning components to make for a well-rounded strategic program. Consider the following questions are you begin thinking about your program needs.
- What challenges are your students and faculty facing with your current programming structure?
- What is your target student population?
- What are the goals of the academic units, if involved?
- What curricular or co-curricular components do your students need within the program?

Get Inspired
Many of our university partners have already made it happen. Get inspired by the following case studies to learn more about what is possible and how to make the program work for you.

San Jose, Costa Rica: University of Alabama TRIO Program
University goal: Increase enrollment of underrepresented populations in study abroad programs
Strategic solution: This program was designed for students in the Federal TRIO program, which provides outreach and student services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. Students were provided with hands-on support in preparing to go abroad and throughout their program. A TRIO advisor accompanied the group while traveling to Costa Rica, helped them settle into their study abroad experience, and provided support while on program and upon their return home to ease the transition back to the home university and maximize the benefits of their time abroad.
Program highlights:
- additional pre-departure and on-program support
- cohort-specific activities
- service-learning day at a local school
